PUBLICATION ETHICS AND MALPRACTICES

Archives for Technical Sciences is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct in publishing. The journal follows the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects all participants in the publication process—including editors, authors, reviewers, and publishers—to adhere to principles of integrity, transparency, and responsibility. Editors are expected to make unbiased decisions based on the academic merit of submitted manuscripts, without discrimination based on race, gender, institutional affiliation, or personal beliefs.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are original, accurately presented, and properly referenced. Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals are strictly prohibited. All sources and contributions must be appropriately acknowledged, and any conflicts of interest must be disclosed. The journal reserves the right to use plagiarism detection tools to verify the originality of submitted content.

Peer reviewers must conduct reviews objectively and confidentially, offering constructive feedback and disclosing any conflicts of interest that may influence their judgment. Any detected ethical misconduct, including but not limited to plagiarism, duplication, or research fraud, will be thoroughly investigated by the editorial team. In such cases, Archives for Technical Sciences may issue retractions, corrections, or other necessary actions to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
