The bridge on the Sava River, which connects the town of Brcko the Croatian Republic was built around 100 years ago and has mainly been continuously open to traffic. Occasional delays before World War II and during World War II when it was demolished in the construction of one field of pillars, represent the creation of the periods in respect of his period eksploatacieje.
In early 2007, there was a damage to one bridge pillars, which are of such proportions that the freight traffic completely stopped. Were carried out geotechnical investigations about some damaged stairs and the immediate environment that is stable, which is not observed damage to the bridge piers. The results obtained define the unstable zone for which there has been damage to the bridge pier, and used to determine the technical recovery solutions
